on how to Make Ankara Print Phone Case
Hey guys, in this tutorial I will be teaching you
guys how to make Ankara print phone pouch and you can give them to your friends and family as very pretty gifts.
Material
Needed:

Phone Case
**
Ankara Fabric (100% cotton are the best, like the conventional ones we sew
cloths in in Africa)
**
A pair of Scissors
***
Gum (a little detail on that below)
**
Glue (Superglue woks fine)
**
A little paint brush (detail below)
**
Measuring tape or ruler
**
Blade
**
Accessories (stones, studs, chains, minimalist Ankara bows, pins, or any little
cute collection that you have)
GUM:
colorless gums are the best, but anyone will do. A variety of gum works best
like the common and cheap ones in Nigeria, Efostic, Top-bond
Paint
Brush: Using the hand to get apply the gum during work tends to dirty the
fabric due to unintentional and intentional rubbing of the fabric, In place of
using ones hand, paint brush are better used.
Step
1: Measure the dimension of the phone case to be covered using the measuring
tape like below, and measure the fabric leaving excess fabric up to3 inches on
each side and up to an inch on the up and down side.
Step
2: Cut out the measured fabric with scissors, iron the fabric to crease out all
the edges of the phone case.
Step
3: Use paint brush to apply gum, covering the entire back of the back of the
phone case. Place the creased fabric on the back of the case, use your hand to
add pressure and smoothen the fabric.
Step
4: Apply gum to the sides of the phone case and repeat step 3, completing one
side before moving to the other.
Step
5: Apply gum on the inner part of each
sides and pull the fabric tightly over to cover the inside of each sides.
Air-dry for few minutes.
Step 6: when all the sides are covered, cut out the camera and charger by using a blade to cut and X on the fabric. Apply gum to the cut-out fabric and push it inwards towards the phone case.
Step 7: apply the stones, studs and other decorations as you wants.
